One can never have too many scholarships.

Scholarship Tips:
  •   Read the ENTIRE application before completing.  
  •   Be sure to note the DEADLINE DATE!
  •   TYPE all applications, do NOT hand-write.  Typing the applications looks                        professional, neat and organized!
  •   Have someone PROOFREAD the application before turning it in!
  •   Make sure all grammar is correct and that everything flows smoothly. 
  •   Describe WHY you are planning on going to college.  
  •   Use specific examples which lead to your current career/major choice.

Qualifications
3.00 GPA Required


Scholarships are awarded at local, state and national level.  More than one student from Nodaway County is usually selected.  

One student from NEN will be selected to represent the school for this state-wide scholarship.  There are 17 regional winners for $1,000 and 1 state-wide winner for $1,500.  The school board selects who will represent NEN. The NEN nominee will receive a $200 scholarship once the state application is completed.  The essay portion is no required unless you are the selected recipient for the state application.   ​


​Must apply to the University of MO-Rolla by Nov. 14, minimum 31 ACT, minimum 3.75 GPA.

​
Must be a resident of Nodaway County who is pursuing his/her education at Northwest Missouri State University in any area of study.  Student will be presented a $500 scholarship.

Have a 3.75 GPA. Must complete FAFSA and must be Pell Grant Eligible.  350 scholarships will be given.

​One $1,000 scholarship will be given to a Northeast Nodaway high school senior.  Student must have a 2.50/4.00 GPA to be eligible. 

​
Must apply and be accepted to the University of MO-Columbia.  If you are attending MU you should apply!

Must be accepted to Northwest Missouri State University in order to apply.  One form for several different scholarships-any student planning to attend NWMSU should apply.

Must be active member of 4-H or FFA, enroll in an accredited Missouri college or university and pursue a degree in agriculture.  Must also have participated as a 4-H or FFA exhibitor at the Missouri State Fair at least once. 

Separate scholarships available for FFA members AND for non-FFA members. Do NOT have to be an FFA member to apply. Fill out one application to apply for over 1800 scholarships available


Must be pursuing a degree in Biology, Wildlife Management, Forestry, Fisheries, Ecology, Agriculture, Criminal Justice, or a field of study closely related to these.


Students must be seeking a degree in Education and must stay in the field to receive this scholarship for subsequent years.  Students must attend a college or university in Missouri.  One student from NEN will be chosen to represent the school.  See Mrs. Groomer if interested.

Must be family members of GRM Networks board members and employees to be eligible.  

$1,000 Scholarship for students planning to attend a 2 year or 4 year Missouri College and major in Agronomy or related field.

Offered to seniors whose parents or grandparents are members of MFA.  $2,000 scholarship to a NEN student.
​
Parent or guardian must be a member of the GRM network.  Student can attend an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university of vocational-technical school. One application for may different scholarships.

Nodaway County student who will be attending NWMSU in fall 2021.  2 awards for $1,000 each will be given. If you are attending Northwest you should apply for these! (This is now included in the Northwest Standard Scholarship application!)

​One student from the school district is allowed to complete the application.  Two $2,000 scholarships are given to our district.  Student selected for Belcher Scholarship has first priority.  See Mrs. Groomer if interested.  

Any Nodaway County student that is attending a trade/technical school upon graduation is eligible for this scholarship.  3 scholarships for $1,500 will be given.

Missouri Courage LGBTQ scholarships are available to students attending any higher education.  Many different scholarship types available.

Up to two $500 scholarships given to Nodaway County students who is passionate about singing.  


​Student must attend a Missouri college or university and preference is given to those students whose parents are Farmer's Mutual Policyholders.  

Must be accepted to Missouri Western State University.  One application for several different scholarships.  If you are planning to attend Missouri Western you should apply

Seeking graduating seniors who reside in NWMO and are students of participating area schools in the annual Docudrama held in Maryville. Consideration will be given to the students’ community service records.  Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school majoring in Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Fire and Disaster Management or related field.​

​​Up to two $250 scholarships will be given to current Northeast Nodaway seniors who plan to pursue any post-secondary schooling.  


​Up to two $250 scholarship will be given to a current Northeast Nodaway senior planning to pursue a post-secondary school.

​
One $125 scholarship will be given to a current Northeast Nodaway senior planning to pursue a post-secondary school.


​Any student planning to attend Southwestern Community College should apply.


Scholarship Application for three different scholarships with varying degrees. $14,000 worth of scholarships up for grabs!  


Open to students from NEN, Maryville, West Nodaway, Jefferson and South Nodaway. One $1,000 scholarship will be given to a student who has some type of visual impairment.



$100.00 Scholarship for students pursuing a degree in an office-related business field.  Must have 2.80 GPA .

​

​$1500 Scholarship for a student attending a 4-year college or university.  


​Preferred Member of UPI or child or grandchild of a Preferred member. Must be studying an agriculture-related field.


​
Must be attending NCMC in Fall.  One application for many different scholarships. 



​
$300 Scholarship to a NEN student pursing any type of post-secondary schooling.

Up to two $500 scholarships will be given to NEN students.  A Thank-You note is required for funds to be dispersed.  

Parents must be a Nodaway County Farm Bureau member for at least one year.  ​
